Important Updates Regarding PDWC 2026

Thank you for your continued interest in and support for PDWC 2026.

We have several important updates to share with you regarding next year's event and our application period.

But first, a message from our Chairperson, Kazuko Nakadai:

We sincerely thank you for your continued understanding and support of PDWC 2026. Recently, we have taken the opportunity to reexamine our organizational structure in light of ensuring the sustainability of our operations moving forward. As part of this process, we believe it is important to create an environment where the next generation – those who will shape the future – can take a central role, and we are working to establish a new structure with this in mind. During this transition, there have been delays in our communication with you all, for which we deeply apologize. In addition, based on this organizational review, we are planning to make changes to the content and scope of next year’s event. We will share more details with you in due course, and we appreciate your patience in the meantime. Important Notice Regarding the PDWC Website Page and Application Process

We would like to inform all prospective schools and stakeholders that the PDWC webpage on this site is currently unavailable due to essential maintenance and updates related to the upcoming program. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to improve our systems.

The updated page is scheduled to go live on Tuesday, August 26th.

Please check back then for the latest information.

Additionally, we have recently encountered technical issues with our previous mail server. As a result, we are transitioning to a new official contact address:

We kindly ask that all future inquiries be directed to this address moving forward. Due to the mail server issues, there is also a possibility that we may have missed emails from you recently. If you have not received a response from us, please don’t hesitate to resend your inquiry to the new address above.

To accommodate this transition and ensure a smooth application process for all, we have extended the application deadline to Sunday, August 31st.
